Ce cinquième volume est entièrement consacré à un groupe méconnu les UNDERDOGS. 

C'est le premier groupe blanc à intégrer l'écurie Motown. Originaire de Grosse Pointe dans le Michigan, le groupe est actif de 1964 à 1967.

Ses membres sont:

• Dave WHITEHOUSE - Chant, basse
• Chuck SHERMETARO - Guitare solo
• Steve PERRIN - Guitare rythmique
• Michael MORGAN - Batterie

Après avoir enregistré trois simples sur le petit label Hideout entre 1965/6, ils arrivent chez Motown et enregistrent une reprise du titre de Chris CLARK "Love gone bad" qui se classe à la 122ème place du Hot 100 du Billboard.

Parmi les 15 titres proposés, 10 ne sortiront que sur CD il y a une dizaine d'années.

Ce quatrième volume est consacré à des titres enregistrés mais pas publiés.

L'arrivée du CD a poussé les responsables du label à fouiller dans leur stock et à sortir certains titres laissés sur le côté.
